X-Plane 9 on Ubuntu 9.10

While running X-Plane 9 Linux installer on Ubuntu 9.10 I got an:

error while loading shared libraries: libopenal.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It seems that OpenAL is not installed by default, to fix this:

apt-get install libopenal1
ln -s /usr/lib/libopenal.so.1 /usr/lib/libopenal.so.0

After these steps I got the X-Plane installer running.
